Tour Diary- August 3-6, 2000
Pollo Del Mar embarked on a 5 show, 4 day road trip. We love getting out of San Francisco, we love meeting new people and drinking their beer! Here are some pictures from the road. If you have some photos from our shows, please send them so we can add to the page.
Saturday- Got rear-ended on the I5 near Disneyland, and can't open the back door to the van anymore. Dave Arnson set up a stellar night instro music with (new all girl band) The Rancheras, Spy-Fi, The Boardwalkers, Davie Allan and the Insect Surfers. There were psychotronic film projections as well as slides projected over the bands. A giant Twister tournament and film trivia contests. Dave really knows how to throw a party. It was great to meet Tom from Spy-Fi-- he wasn't going to let a broken leg slow him down. The guys in Spy-Fi kept repeating "Its our dream come true". It wasn't exactly my dream come true, but it was a great night!!!
Saturday started
off with a bang as we were rear-ended on the I-5 near Disneyland.The
back door of our van is now stuck shut, making gear removal a
major pain.
We have a great house to stay at with a great view of downtown...
And Peacocks too!
