Michael Landon, seen here as Little Joe from TV's Bonanza, is caught doing a double take. We pay homage to the Doublemint Gum commercials of yore with the twin beauties (vintage 1964). This card commemorates one of our many two shows in one day days. On August 1996, we played at KFJC's Summer Swell (where we recorded the version of Pearl Diver that appears on our CD The Ocean Is Not for Cowards ), and then hustled back up to San Francisco to play at The Paradise Lounge with The Woodies and our new best friends, The Penetrators.
